There are a few apps available on the Android Market that facilitates the connection between an Android tablet PC and a desktop computer for the purpose of allowing the tablet do establish a Remote Desktop connection.
This type of a connection allows the person operating the tablet to connect to the desktop computer or laptop and operate the computer just as if they were actually using the computer. This connection also allows an easy method to move files between the two devices.
The app that I recommend to accomplish this is TeamViewer.
- First, go to the Android Market and download and install the free Android version of TeamViewer (Click Here)
- Next, on your desktop computer or laptop, go to www.TeamViewer.com and download and install the full version of TeamViewer. As long as you are using TeamViewer for personal reasons, and not for a business, the software is free.
- Enter your computer’s TeamViewer ID and password directly in the TeamViewer interface on your Android device to connect.
