Use Voice commands instead of Typing with your Android Phone or tabletThere are a few options where you can use voice commands or Actions to perform functions on your Android phone or tablet.
To use voice commands, use the Voice Search function on your tablet to speak Voice Actions to perform many functions such as: text your contacts, get directions, send email, set the alarm, record a note to yourself, find music, open a website, search the web, and other common tasks.
To use the Voice Search function, touch the icon which looks like an old style microphone in the upper left corner of any home screen.
