Having the correct time and date on an Android device is important for nearly all apps and features. To change date and/or time, you can manually set them to whatever you want, or you can turn on the Automatic setting so the time and date are automatically set based on the network every time you receive a phone call. Using the local network time and date will cause your phone to use the time zone you are currently in. So the time zone will also be set automatically. The time zone will automatically change to your own local time when you travel home.
